  • What age can my child start myofunctional therapy?
At Airways Myofunctional Therapy, we can start a treatment plan as young as 4 years old, as long as the child can cooperate with the therapy. Our program for ages 4-5 is called "Mini-Myo". For children younger than 4, we offer our "Early Start Program" to provide them with the necessary support and intervention.
  • What if my child is too young to start myofunctional therapy but I want to get them on the right track now?
The Myo Early Start Program at Airways Myofunctional Therapy is a preventive program designed for children ages 18 months to 5 years. It is an 8-week long program that can be accessed through our user-friendly app. Upon purchase and download, the program is self-led and can be started instantly. The program provides a wealth of resources, including our Habit Breaking program, aimed at promoting healthy oral habits and myofunctional development in young children. *It is important to note that the Myo Early Start Program does not provide a diagnosis and is not a treatment program. Instead, it focuses on creating a strong foundation for optimal oral and myofunctional health in children.
  • My child has a thumb/finger sucking/pacifier habit and I need help!
We offer a digital habit breaking guide available for instant download, which is a self-led program designed to help address OMDs. Additionally, for parents of children between 18 months and 3.5 years old who suspect an OMD, we recommend our Myo Early Start Program. This program includes the Habit Breaking Guide for free and is specifically tailored to support young children in early intervention. Our goal is to provide comprehensive solutions that empower parents and effectively address orofacial myofunctional disorders in children.
